Even though the school Term will only commence on Monday for
Year 7s and 12s and Tuesday for the remainder of the school, the 16 Year 11
Certificate III Hospitality students have already commenced their three-day
induction in preparation for the year ahead.
The Induction consists of occupational health and safety
guidelines, the expectations of the students, café and catering duties, the
communication methods that will be used, including the Futura program and the
skills required of a Head Chef, Maître D and tills.
Chef Nick Campbell, Chef Chris Martin (Director of Operations,
Advanced Institute of Training & Consultancy), Ms Bui and Ms Coleborn are
all part of the 3-day induction.
