During the Easter Liturgy on Thursday 28 March, La Salle College paused and reflected on
Easter and the journey of Jesus Christ, to Calvary and his ultimate victory
over death to his resurrection.
Students from Years 7 to 12 took part in some key
components of the liturgy:
The symbolic washing of feet, the Last Supper and
Stations of the Cross. Mr Wayne Bull and members of the Senior Leadership Team
washed the feet of Year 7 students.
Each of the stations had a reflective narrative read
by a student, which was followed by a musical interlude. Connor Mckie who played
the role Jesus moved from station to station carrying a cross and along the way,

the cross, the Liturgical Dance Ensemble danced a prayerful rendering of Pie
The Liturgy concluded with the scene at the tomb where
Lauren Versaci and Amy Hancock announce the good news of the resurrection. Fr
Richard then blessed us all and we finished with the lovely, upbeat song –
Halle Halle Halle.
